Where is this practice located?
Build Health MD is centrally located on Shea & I-51 in Phoenix, in close vicinity to Scottsdale & Paradise Valley. The office address is 3101 E Shea Blvd, Ste 220, Phoenix, AZ 85028.
Do you offer virtual visits?
Yes, we offer virtual visits for established patients for convenience that are covered by membership.
Do you offer after hours care?
Extended hours are offered on as needed basis for convenience. Any other additional services are by special request.
Do you see children?
As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Nachiappan specializes in general adult medicine, though she can start seeing patients from ages as young as 15 years.
Is Build Health MD a concierge medicine?
As a membership based primary care, we work for you, not the insurance companies. We offer outstanding primary care with a focus on prevention without concierge prices. Unlike most concierge practices, we do not charge insurance so you will not get any surprise billing.
Will my insurance or health plan pay for my membership fee?
Insurance does not cover membership fees. However, insurance can be used for other services such as referrals, imaging, labs, vaccines, etc.
Do you see Medicare patients?
We see Medicare patients but Medicare does not cover membership fees. However, Medicare can be used for other services such as referrals, imaging, labs, vaccines, and more.
Is my membership a health insurance?
No, your membership to Build Health MD is NOT health insurance. However, given that typically 80-90% of healthcare needs can be taken care of by primary care, you can control most of your healthcare expenses with your membership.
Do I need to join as a member to see Dr. Nachiappan as my physician?
It is highly recommended to enroll as a member to see Dr. Nachiappan to ensure your spot in her panel of patients as she is only enrolling a limited panel of patients to ensure excellent access and care for her patients. Further, if seen as a one time visit, this will be as a consult and not as the primary care physician.
Can I use my FSA/HSA to cover the membership fee?
Please check with your tax advisor or provider of FSA/ HSA. While it is possible for reimbursement, it is your responsibility to inquire and submit to your FSA/HSA account per your discretion and Build Health MD does not make guarantees or representations.
Is there a special rate for couples or families?
Yes, there is a 10% discount for additional memberships for spouses and family members.
Are there savings for paying for an annual membership?
Yes, if you pay for the annual membership, the last month is free!
Is there a long-term contract?
There is an initial 3 month minimum commitment for the membership but after that, you may terminate anytime with a 30 day notice. However, we are confident that we can help build your health for life and look forward to building a lasting relationship with you!
